Lake Shore Adult & Community Education – Credit Recovery Program

Lake Shore Adult & Community Education offers a flexible Credit Recovery program during the regular school year for high school students currently enrolled in a Macomb County high school. This program is designed to help students stay on track for graduation through an accessible, self-paced online learning format.

📌 Eligibility & Registration Process

  • Home School Requirement:
    Students must be referred by their home school counselor to participate.
    The counselor will provide a referral letter and a registration link, which must be used to enroll.

  • Registration Information:
    Students or parents must complete the provided registration information in full to be eligible.

  • Classes Available

💰 Tuition & Payment

  • Cost: $225 per semester

  • Students may take up to two (2) classes at a time.
    Additional classes may only be assigned after the first two (2) are complete.

  • Payment:

    • Must be paid in full at the time of registration/before classes begin

    • Debit, credit or ACH payments are accepted online

    • No cash payments accepted

📅 2025-26 School Year Schedule

  • Fall Semester: September 22, 2025 – January 29, 2026

  • Winter Semester: February 2, 2026 – June 4, 2026

Courses are delivered 100% online with 24/7 access, allowing students to work at their own pace. Weekly progress is required to ensure ongoing engagement and academic success.

This flexible schedule is ideal for students managing extracurricular activities or other personal responsibilities, while still focusing on academic achievement.
